The Proposal Strategist will be responsible for completing responses to Requests for Proposals (RFPs), positioning the company, its capabilities, and proposed services. Based in HUB International’s Dallas office, the role will require a high degree of cross-functional collaboration with business development and end-to-end oversight of proposal development efforts.
Responsibilities:
Project management – Manage responses to RFPs in partnership with team members and leadership across the business.Lead Capture – Monitor, identify, and circulate bid opportunities to stakeholders.Compilation – Source response content from libraries, gather inputs from team members, and compile all other required components into complete and timely responses.Production – Proofread, perform quality checks, package and ship responses.Content Management – Migrate completed response content into response library, manage post-submission feedback loops, maintain response templates.Skills:
Communication – Strong writing skills – previous experience or degree in business writing a plus. A high degree of professionalism in interfacing with internal stakeholders, company leadership, and external agency clients. Ability to set expectations and boundaries when needed.Detail Orientation – Strong attention to detail – previous experience in copy editing and/or quality control a plus.Flexibility – Ability to wear multiple hats, multi-task, and shift seamlessly between a diversity of tasks such as strategic positioning, detailed writing, relationship management, and administrative duties.Self Starter – Ability to operate autonomously, work under broad direction, and be resourceful. MS Office – Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.Required Qualifications:
2-5 years of relevant experience, to include direct experience on a bid management or RFP response team and project management experience.Experience in copy editing and/or quality control is a plus.Strong attention to detail and proven ability to manage various tasks at onceBachelor's degree preferred#LI-KP1
