The Role
Palantir's Proposal Team, known internally as the Smiths, seeks a versatile writer and project manager to win new commercial contracts.
Smiths work closely with Palantir's business development, engineering, and legal teams to articulate Palantir's value proposition to current and potential customers. We craft compelling documents and web communications that explain how our software addresses critical issues faced by commercial enterprises and develop strategies for new customer acquisition. On any given day, we’re managing several concurrent RFP processes for a new customer contracts, triaging new incoming business opportunities, or helping to build a software demo for a potential customer. Smiths also lead a range of business development (BD), capture management, and proposal management efforts. This includes qualifying new opportunities, partnering with others in the BD organization to identify the most effective pursuit strategies, and overseeing complex, multi-vendor RFP processes.
This role is a unique opportunity to develop and demonstrate broad expertise in bid tradecraft, technical writing, and enterprise BD strategy. The estimated salary range for this position is estimated to be $95,000 - $147,000/year. Total compensation for this position may also include Restricted Stock units, sign-on bonus and other potential future incentives. Further note that total compensation for this position will be determined by each individual’s relevant qualifications, work experience, skills, and other factors. This estimate excludes the value of any potential sign-on bonus; the value of any benefits offered; and the potential future value of any long-term incentives.
