As part of the proposals team, the Proposal Analyst will work closely with Business Development, the Solutions team, Subject Matter Experts (SMEs), and other key staff to develop and deliver high-quality, compelling proposals in a high-volume, fast-paced environment. The Proposal Analyst will contribute throughout the entire proposal process, from proposal pre-work to proposal creation and delivery to limited post-submission support.
Proposal Development Responsibilities
Partner with Business Development lead to drive the proposal process from start to finish, serving as the primary point of contact for proposal development tasks Review RFP in detail and identify mandatory business requirements Provide all documentation needed for proposal construction to involved parties, including Business Development, Solutions, SMEs, other proposals team members, and other key staff Provide guidance to the Associate Proposal Analyst and/or Proposal Writer on other tasks, including text shell construction, staffing documents, appendices, mandatory forms, etc. When no APA or PW is assigned, the Proposal Analyst is responsible for these tasks Work with Associate Proposal Analyst and/or Proposal writer to populate and/or customize proposal text owned by the proposals team as needed for each proposal Supervise or complete incorporation of edits, proofreading, and final editing/formatting of text Deliver error-free files for proposal production Oversee and support proposal production tasks, as neededOther Responsibilities
Assist in training of Associate Proposal Analysts on proposal processes Assist in updating and maintaining boilerplate text owned by proposals team Support updates to and maintenance of training materials for all proposals team rolesQualifications
BA or BS, preferably in English, Journalism, or similar degree Minimum two years in proposal writing/management or other relevant writing/business experience Experience in education or assessment industry preferred Expert proficiency with Microsoft 0365Skills, Knowledge, and Abilities

Compensation at Pearson is influenced by a wide array of factors including but not limited to skill set, level of experience, and specific location. As required by the California, Colorado, Hawaii, Maryland, New York State, New York City, Washington State, and Washington DC laws, the pay range for this position is as follows:
The minimum full-time salary range is between $57,000 - $62,000.
