40Summary:
As the Practioner responsible for all patient care, the practioner provides the provision of comprehensive orthotic and prosthetic care under the supervision of an American Board Certified and State licensed practitioner. This includes patient assessment, formulation of a treatment plan, implementation of a treatment plan follow up and practice management. In addition, professional responsibilities which promote and assure the overall welfare of the patient and integrity of the profession.
Education and Experience:
Bachelor of Science with certification in Prosthetics and Orthotics approved by the commission on accreditation of Allied Health Education Programs or Baccalaureate Degree in Prosthetics and Orthotics
Certification/Licensure:
Must obtain Texas State license to practice Orthotics within 12 months of hire date
Prefer completed residency of Orthotic and/or Prosthetics
CPR required
