Prosthetics & Orthotics Technician
The Prosthetics and Orthotics Department (P&O) offers two areas of service including prosthetics and orthotics. Patient care in both areas is provided following a written referral from a physician and with cooperation with other members of the healthcare team. These services are provided for both inpatients and outpatients from the Hamilton-Wentworth area and from surrounding regions.

The Orthotic/Prosthetic Technician will assist in the fabrication of custom orthoses and custom prostheses.

1. Successful completion of the Prosthetic and Orthotic Technical Program at George Brown College.
2. Ability and willingness to provide assistance in both prosthetics and orthotics on a variable schedule.
3. Motivated and self-directed individual with an ability to duplicate shape and form from tracings and/or measurements.
