Prototype Project Coordinator I

The Prototype Project Coordinator I will assist with the planning and coordination of projects and their activities. The role will ensure implementation of processes and practices. The Prototype Project Coordinator I will maintain and track data and schedules. This position is located in Dearborn, MI.

As a Prototype Project Coordinator I, you will be responsible for: 

Assisting with planning, scheduling, and coordinating office and shop activity and relaying customer expectationsAssisting in developing and executing small project plansCompleting milestones on time and within budget, and working with the cross-functional teams to ensure deliverablesReviewing data from customers, suppliers, and creating reportsCoordinating assignments for subcontractors and monitoring performance of vendorsPerforming other duties and responsibilities as assigned

To be considered a Prototype Project Coordinator I, you will need:

High school diploma or equivalentNo previous experience requiredDetail oriented, effective written and verbal communication skillsGood customer service skills, reliable attendance and ability to work overtimeAbility to follow directions, learn new skills and technologies, multi-task in a fast-paced work environmentAbility to compile lessons learned for continuous quality developmentBasic computer skills (Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel)Ability to travel 10% of the time 

A successful candidate may also have:

​Writing customer work orders or parts knowledgeStrong mechanical background or aptitudeExperience, scheduling of fleet repairs and maintenanceCustomer focused
