Description
The Provider Administration Specialist is responsible for maintaining the accuracy and integrity of provider information across enterprise systems. As a Provider Administration Specialist, you will oversee the distribution of updated provider details to dental offices and play a pivotal role in fostering positive relationships between health plans, providers, and practice managers. This Provider Administration Specialist position is fully remote, allowing you to contribute to provider data management and issue resolution from the comfort of your home.
Responsibilities:
+ Maintain and update an electronic database with provider information, including business name and tax ID changes, Termination of dental contracts, ownership changes, business splits, and sales of practices.
+ Adding associates, license updates, specialty changes, and contract revisions.
+ Assistance with provider directory updates.
+ Plan, prioritize, and organize tasks to meet established objectives.
+ Collaborate individually or with a team to solve complex provider servicing challenges.
+ Serve as a technical resource for others within the department.
+ Resolve claims workflow discrepancies related to address and tax ID conflicts in provider data.
+ Handle escalated calls from client groups and make outgoing calls to dental offices.
+ Investigate and resolve 1099 tax discrepancies using external databases.
+ Run queries, generate monthly reports, and process credentialing document verifications.
+ Screen provider enrollment packets for missing information and follow up with providers to obtain it.
Requirements

+ Proficiency in maintaining large-scale data systems with high accuracy.
+ Strong organizational and time management skills to meet deadlines in a remote work environment.
+ Problem-solving abilities, with experience working on complex issues.
+ Excellent verbal and written communication skills for handling escalations and coordinating with providers.
+ Familiarity with claims workflows, provider credentialing processes, and tax documentation.
+ Ability to use queries and reporting tools for data analysis.
+ Detail-oriented with a commitment to maintaining data integrity.
+ Self-motivated and disciplined to work independently in a remote setting.
