Aspirus Health Plan in Wausau, WI is seeking a PROVIDER CONTRACTOR to join our ASPIRUS HEALTH PLAN team!The Provider Contractor is responsible for negotiating and executing physician, hospital, and ancillary contracts for Aspirus Health Plan. Providing guidance and governance on reimbursement strategies and working collaboratively to develop procedures to increase market share and enhance the competitiveness of all Aspirus Health Plan products.
HOURS: Full-Time or 1.0 FTE, 80 hours every 2 weeks.
Experience/Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree preferred in Healthcare Administration, Finance or Business Management.Previous network development and provider contracting experience.Possesses a valid driver’s license. While the position is primarily remote, travel may on occasion be required to Wausau or Madison.
Knowledge of NCQA and CMS quality standards.
Knowledge of state and federal requirements for network adequacy, contracting, and compliance.
Efficient in Microsoft Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Word.
