Provider Operations Liaison (PARTIAL REMOTE)|
Overview Manages daily operations and projects for the assigned M Health Fairview physician practice at the site-level Responsible for collaborating with site medical leader(s) to monitor and achieve clinical and operational practice and system performance expectations for practices at St. John's Hospital. Responsibilities Job Description Evaluate and manage relevant practice data and escalate opportunities for improvement as they arise. Monitors, interprets, and resolve various productivity and/or performance metrics as they relate to daily census/workload, efficiency management and improvement efforts. Manages provider payroll and coordinates written and verbal communications for provider timecards and Continuing Medical Education (CME) expenditures, as needed, in partnership with cross-functional support teams. Manage provider clinical schedules and time-off, providing awareness to site leadership. Independently evaluates core needs for patient care and creates a complete clinical schedule. Creates business case for appropriate staffing levels (i.e., increase hiring) Leads provider on-boarding, department orientation and departure processes in partnership with cross-functional departments. Actively participating in candidate interview and selection process. Applies knowledge of time-keeping systems, pay practices, and agreements to maintain accuracy and problem solving in collaboration with leadership, providers, and support departments e.g. HR, IT, etc. Creates written and verbal communication to support day-to-day operations and projects. Works collaboratively with all teams, leaders and providers. Implements department procedures to maintain system standards. Reviews departmental policies and executes accurately. For contracted services, complete invoice payments and meet requirements laid out in contract. Take messages from patients or family members related to care follow-up. Direct caller to appropriate department. AMCOM data entry of complete on-call providers working with specialties to ensure needed contacts and on-call staff are available. Flexibility with scheduling to meet provider needs may require start times before regular business hours or after normal business hours Qualifications Required Associate Degree in related field or two years of equivalent experience Minimum of 5 years of progressive administrative and program support (in addition to the two in lieu of an AA) Preferred Bachelor degree in Business Administration, Healthcare Administration or related field 10 years of experience in provider practice support 10 years of experience working with physicians and/or advanced practice providers 10 years in a healthcare or public health environment Additional Requirements: Work proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite Office 365, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook.
