Job Summary: The Provider Recruitment Coordinator will assist in the end to end sourcing and recruitment for specified provider and advanced practitioner positions. This role will be responsible for sourcing & screening candidates, presenting candidates, coordinating interviews, scheduling and coordinating site visits, making travel arrangements, coordinating candidate evaluations as well as coordinating first day arrival for new hires. This role supports the recruitment team to achieve the annual goals for the department.
Minimum Education: High School Diploma or GED. Associate's degree or Bachelor's degree, preferred.
Licensure, Registration and/or Certification: None.
Work Experience: Minimum 1 year of experience in high volume recruiting.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: Ability to travel for on-site candidate visits. Strong computer and database management skills. Prior proven success in high volume, multi-faceted environment managing multiple projects that requires exceptional customer service, critical thinking, attention to detail, and multi-tasking. Excellent interpersonal communication skills. Ability to have a professional demeanor at all times.
Essential Functions and Responsibilities: Assists with itineraries, agendas, and site visits including travel and hotel reservations, clinic, hospital and community tours, appointments with providers, lunch/dinner reservations, and processes all related receipts. May escort candidates through their interviews and visit. Facilitates timely evaluation process among decision makers regarding consideration for employment interview to determine interest on all parties' behalf. Follows up with candidates in a timely manner regarding candidate's interest in the position, the organization's interest in the candidate, and the next steps including notification of unsuccessful candidacy for the position. Works closely with the Provider Recruitment Team to understand staffing needs and develops a proactive/innovative plan to attract new talent. Enters and maintains accurate information in the Applicant Tracking System. Manages timely responses to applicants. Maintains current professional knowledge by attending educational workshops/conferences, reviews professional publications, and establishes presence in professional networks/associations. Develops and maintains a network and database of potential candidates for future consideration, including a pipeline of passive candidates. Communicates status of searches within the recruitment team on a consistent and timely basis.
Decision Making: Independent judgment in making minor decisions where alternatives are limited and standard policies/protocols have been established.
Working Relationships: Coordinates activities of others (does not supervise). Works directly with patients and/or customers. Works with internal/external customers via telephone or face to face interaction. Works with other healthcare professionals and staff. Works frequently with individuals at Director level or above.
