Provider Relations Director Location: Middletown, NY, United StatesDate Posted: Jan 17, 2025 Share: share to e-mail Apply Now Save JobSaved Description Location: Middletown, NY Hours: M-F 40 hours weekly Salary: $70,000 to $75,000 Position Summary: The Provider Relations Director reports directly to the Chief Program Officer (CPO) and plays a vital role in ensuring excellent customer service for community-based provider agencies that refer individuals to our organization for services. This individual will be responsible for cultivating strong partnerships, ensuring alignment with organizational goals, and supporting programs in delivering comprehensive services to meet the needs of individuals and families. Key Responsibilities: Provider Agency Engagement: + Build and maintain relationships with community-based provider agencies offering Mental Health, Substance Use Disorders (SUD), Intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD), Housing, Self-Directed Services, Department of Health (DOH) Services and Employment Services. + Act as the point of contact for provider agencies, ensuring open and effective communication and alignment with organizational priorities. Network Development & Collaboration: + Expand and strengthen the network of provider agencies to increase referral sources and service availability and accessibility. + Facilitate collaboration between provider agencies and internal teams, including the Foundation and Communications, to develop and execute targeted outreach campaigns that promote integrated and person-centered care. Performance Oversight & Support: + Monitor program performance to ensure compliance with service agreements, quality standards, and regulatory requirements. + Provide support and resources to provider agencies, addressing challenges and fostering continuous improvement through collaborative feedback mechanisms. Community Integration: + Represent the organization in community coalitions, forums, and meetings to ensure alignment with community priorities. + Stay informed of local, state, and federal policies impacting provider agencies and the populations they serve. + Regularly communicate with the Communications team to share insights, success stories, and impactful data for external promotion and stakeholder engagement. Strategic Partnerships: + Identify opportunities for strategic partnerships and collaborative initiatives with provider agencies to address service gaps and enhance outcomes. + Support programs in securing funding and resources to expand capacity and sustainability. + Collaborate with the Foundation team to identify potential funding sources. Cross-Organizational Coordination: + Work closely with internal teams, including program directors and senior leadership, to ensure seamless coordination with provider agencies. + Identifies barriers to service access and delivery. + Collaborate on the development and implementation of innovative service models and initiatives. + Exemplifies outstanding customer services with internal and external partners. Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Social Work, Public Administration, Healthcare Management, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred). Minimum of 5 years of experience in provider relations, community engagement, or program management within the nonprofit or human services sector. Proven knowledge of community-based service delivery systems, particularly for Mental Health, SUD, IDD, DOH, Housing, and Employment. Strong relationship-building, communication, and problem-solving skills. Experience working with diverse stakeholders, including government agencies, provider networks, and community groups. Ability to travel regularly between Hudson Valley and NYC.
