North America (NA) Personal Risk Services (PRS) is seeking a results-oriented individual with requisite experience and enthusiasm to implement technology improvements for our Recreational Marine business.  The ideal candidate will have experience in defining the product vision, creating and maintaining the product backlog, and ensure that the development team delivers high-quality features that meet customer needs and align with business goals. The primary focus will be on our Rec Marine systems but will spend time on other systems as well. 

Key responsibilities are: 

Managing stakeholder expectations, leading the product to success through representing the voice of the customer, defining and prioritizing team efforts Balance cross-functional inputs to set direction for journeys and own the agreed upon solution  Collaborate with stakeholders (business and technology), including LOB leadership, to define and prioritize features and stories, ensuring alignment with customer needs  Understanding the current state of product development and the associated workflows and communication plans.  Independently and effectively translate product management narratives into user stories ensuring expected outcomes are achieved. Define, refine, and prioritize user stories/epics/tasks daily including leading interactions with other departments Reviews, analyzes, and approves testing plans for products with the highest complexity and serves as the business owner of User Acceptance Testing  Drive decision-making and remove impediments to the team’s progress Manage change management processes and communicate effectively with IT teams to minimize disruptions. Bachelors` degree in relevant field and a minimum of 3 to 5 years direct experience with agile teams as well as 7+ years in business, technology, or consulting. Proven experience as a Product Owner or in a similar role  Strong problem solver with demonstrated ability to lead a team to push for solutions and progress. Excellent communication and leadership skills, capable of influencing diverse stakeholders and making timely decisions. Experience in the insurance industry with Personal Lines or Rec Marine preferred. Knowledgeable in Agile development methodologies and IT project management
