**Job Summary**
We are looking for a bilingual work study student to join the Department of Population Health Sciences as a motivated and detail-oriented research assistant! This role involves in-person recruitment of women in a mammography setting, conducted in both English and Spanish. You’ll also collaborate with our dynamic team on various projects related to Population Health, such as mammography screening and heart disease.

**Responsibilities**
+ Supporting and learning about all parts of a research lab, including patient recruitment and follow-up (virtually and in-person), submitting and maintaining IRBs, management of study participants on REDCap, conducting literature reviews, and grant submissions. Trainings will be provided as needed (e.g., REDCap, IRB submissions).
+ Collaborating with a research lab on multiple projects.
+ Analyze data under the guidance of the principal investigator.
+ Other administrative tasks as needed.
+ Our team meets at cafes 1-2 times month for teamwork and socialization. All other work is primarily remote.
+ Snack and drink area for people on site.
**Minimum Qualifications**
This position is patient-sensitive and must fulfill all associated requirements. We protect our patients, coworkers and community by requiring all patient-sensitive employees to be immunized according to CDC standards and hospital policy. Limited exemptions may be made for documented medical contraindications or religious beliefs that object to vaccinations.
**Preferences**
+ Must be able to read, write, and speak fluently in both Spanish and English.
+ Must be available for in-person recruitment of research participants.
+ Patient-sensitive position; CDC immunization standards required.
+ Passion for health sciences, whether clinical or research-focused.
+ Self-starter, organized, and good with time management. Willing to learn new skills.
