ABOUT THE ROLE
Peloton’s Content Department - comprising our Production, Studio Operations, and Instructor teams - works 365 days a year to deliver a broad offering of highly engaging subscription content to our members. We are a highly collaborative, fast paced department that focuses on evolving our innovative programming. We are looking for a Studio Hardware Technician to support our Facilities and Tech Manager in ensuring that our studio facilities, where our Peloton classes are filmed, are managed and maintained to the highest standards, with a strong focus on the maintenance of studio bikes, treads and rows with health and safety for our Riders as a top priority.
YOUR DAILY IMPACT AT PELOTON
Support the Facilities, stagehands and MOD with studio operations and maintenance of all studio facilities Assist with ensuring the best possible Member experience Assist with the maintenance and orders of all Peloton-related hardware equipment, such as bikes, spare parts, replacement bikes, bike shoes, and all associated inventories Assist with maintaining bike conditions and carrying out bike repairs and adjustments before, during, and after classes Be responsible for the onboarding and training of other Studio staff around all studio hardware procedures Act as the main liaison between Studio and Field Operations teams, ensuring that lines of communication remain strong and new developments relating to hardware are shared between teams Act as the main liaison with US Content team Hardware Technicians around wider best practices Assist with Health and Safety compliance procedures Assist with updating inspection logs, tracking sheets, and paperwork as necessary Assist with maintaining the cleanliness of the studio and all its facilities Assist Management/Production teams with daily tasks and projects Work alongside class Instructors to ensure a successful overall class experience Possess and enthusiastically communicate knowledge of Client's products and brand imageYOU BRING TO PELOTON
Experience of working in a fitness or gym environment will be beneficial Ability to demonstrate proficiency with hardware and equipment maintenance Must be open to shift patterns, including some evening and weekend work on a rotating basis Must have customer service skills and exhibit enthusiasm for Peloton Bikes and our production studio Must have the ability to prioritize and multi-task within a fast-paced environment Must have excellent interpersonal skills and be able to work with a wide range of personalities An interest in fitness Ability to use Google Drive and Google Sheets#LI-CG1
The base salary range represents the low and high end of the anticipated salary range for this position based at our New York City headquarters. The actual base salary offered for this position will depend on numerous factors including individual performance, business objectives, and if the location for the job changes.
