Position Details

Registered Nurse (RN) Responsibilities: 

Support the organization, program and unit philosophy of careCoordinate and deliver quality general and psychiatric nursing care to patientsEnsure medical Orders are followed, initiate and follow treatment planningAct as a patient advocate at all times
Qualifications

Registered Nurse (RN) Requirements:

Graduate from an accredited program of professional nursing training Current unencumbered license to practice by the State Board of NursingCPR Certification and Crisis Prevention Training (CPI) within 30 days of employment and prior to any patient contactExperience working an inpatient psychiatric or healthcare facility preferred

Registered Nurse (RN) Preferred Experience:

Previous experience in a psychiatric health care facilityDirect experience working with chemical dependency, dual diagnosis, psychiatric and geriatric patients Experience in patient assessments, family motivations, treatment planning Expereince with communicating with external review organizations or comparable entities.
