ABOUT THE JOB: The Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner works as part of a mental health treatment team. Duties include, but are not limited to, performing comprehensive psychiatric assessments and diagnosis; prescribing psychotropic medications to adults with psychiatric and/or substance abuse disorders; determining the medical necessity of proposed mental health services; and working collaboratively with other licensed independent practitioners, mental health practitioners, and primary care providers. This position is located in Deschutes County and may be eligible for a hybrid of in-office/remote work as allowed by policy and approved by the supervisor.
