Exciting New PMHNP Opportunity – Minutes Away from Center City Philadelphia
Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner - Community-Based Behavioral Health Outpatient Clinic

Crozer Health is undergoing significant transitions and continues to focus on providing high-quality, trauma-informed, and patient-centered care. The mission is, “To Share the Joy of Caring. To be the Trusted Health and Community Partner in Delaware County.”

Crozer Community Campus is a fast-paced primary psychiatric outpatient clinic that is looking to expand its services to this underserved community. Serving children/adolescents, adults, and older adults/geriatric populations, we address a wide spectrum of mental health conditions, ranging from common ADHD, depression, grief, anxiety, PTSD, bipolar disorder, schizophrenia, and more. This outpatient clinic promotes a life-long learning environment, with dedicated psychiatric attendings and other psychiatric nurse practitioners (NPs) available to discuss optimal treatment approaches. Regular one-on-one teaching sessions can be scheduled with both the attending psychiatrist and NPs. We foster continuous education and provide protected time for weekly lectures and presentations on evidence-based standards of care and treatment approaches.

This location is less than a 20-minute drive from Philadelphia, 90 minutes north of New York City, 90 minutes east of historical Lancaster County, and less than two hours from the beautiful New Jersey and Delaware shores.

Crozer Health’s Community Campus Behavioral Health Outpatient Clinic is seeking a dedicated and motivated Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) to care for this underserved population. The ideal candidate will be resourceful, a strong decision-maker, and capable of thinking outside the box. The candidate must have the clinical skills to identify and manage common triggers and barriers that lead to acute exacerbations of mental health conditions. Organizational skills and effective time management are also essential.

The PMHNP will be an active participant within a multidisciplinary treatment team, including a dedicated psychiatric attending, other PMHNPs, therapists, and both administrative and on-the-field case managers. Together, we collaborate to support patients in their journey toward mental health recovery. Daily clinical tasks include diagnosing mental health conditions, developing treatment plans, and prescribing and managing psychotropic medications.
