Position Overview: We are seeking an experienced Psychiatric Technician to join our team at the Naval Hospital Everett Branch Mental Health Clinic. This role involves providing high-quality mental health care and support to patients in a dynamic and supportive environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist in the care and treatment of patients with mental health conditionsObserve and report on the behavior and condition of patientsProvide therapeutic and recreational activities for patientsAssist in the implementation of treatment plansAdminister medications and treatments as prescribed by healthcare providersMaintain accurate patient records and documentationCollaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive patient careQualifications:
Certificate of graduation from an accredited Psychiatric Technician Program; orCompletion of an equivalent education and experience that meets the requirements of the American Association of Psychiatric Technicians; orCompletion of education and experience as a behavioral science specialist/technician in the United States military, with proof of having completed an Armed Forces course involving psychiatric technician training or a civilian course from an accredited school in the care of behavioral health patientsAt least one year of experience as a Psychiatric Technician after graduationStrong interpersonal and communication skillsAbility to work effectively in a team-oriented environmentCompassionate and patient-centered approach to careBenefits:
