University of Rochester: Office of the Provost: University of Rochester Medical Center: School of Medicine and Dentistry: Psychiatry: Psychiatry: Crisis Services **Salary Range or Pay Grade** $209,000 - $315,271 a year **Description** University of Rochester Department of Psychiatry has an opportunity for a psychiatrist interested in developing a career in Emergency Psychiatry to join the energetic and dedicated team of our Comprehensive Psychiatric Emergency Program, in the pursuit of clinical and academic excellence. This full-time position includes an academic appointment with University of Rochester School of Medicine and Dentistry at the rank of Seniore Instructor, Assistant or Associate Professor, commensurate with experience and accomplishments, and ample opportunities for faculty development within a robust tradition of mentorship. Teaching and clinical supervision of psychiatric residents and fellows, medical students and other trainees is an integral part of this position, along with involvement in process improvement and program development. The work will include interfacing with Emergency Medicine Department and the Pediatric and Adult Acute inpatient psychiatric units. This practice location is currently using the EPIC electronic medical records system and training will be provided.
