The position is a full-time (1.0 FTE) College of Medicine faculty position and will be at the forefront of providing comprehensive psychiatric care to UF students facing diverse mental health challenges including general mental health disorders, multicultural concerns, trauma, eating disorders, substance abuse and gender/sexual minority issues. The Student Health Care Center is fully accredited by the AAAHC and is a comprehensive medical facility that offers primary care, sports medicine and acute care, gynecology, nutrition, immunization and allergy services along with a full pharmacy, lab, x-ray and ECG services. The facility is a brand new 46,000 square foot platinum WELL certified building located on UF’s main campus. The candidate’s impact will extend beyond direct student care as collaboration with various campus entities is integral to our mission to help every student achieve optimal health in the pursuit of personal and academic success. Expected Salary: Commensurate with training and experience Minimum Requirements: + Applicants must have a M.D. or D.O. degree and be licensed in or eligible for licensure in the State of Florida and be board certified/board eligible. + Completed residency in psychiatry. + Possess prior clinical experience in a teaching institution or service + Strong interpersonal communication skills + Strong written communications skills Preferred Qualifications: + Fellowship training in Addiction Medicine, or Child & Adolescent. + Prior clinical experience working with the collegiate-age population.
