40Summary:
The Licensed Psychologist will work with patients ages 0 - 18 and their families to provide outpatient psychotherapy (family and individual therapy) and psychological testing. The Licensed Psychologist will possess knowledge and understanding of normal pediatric/adolescent growth and brain development as well as experience with pediatric/adolescent mental health diagnoses and a variety of treatment milieu and psychological tests. Experience with ADHD, developmental delays, mood disorders, autism spectrum disorders, complex psychiatric and neuropsychiatric conditions, and trauma-informed care is preferred. Understanding the ecological, biological, genetic, and developmental factors that promote health across the lifespan is preferred.
Requirements:
Doctoral Degree in Psychology from an accredited institution.
Licensed Psychologist in TX. (Will consider Provisional License if close to licensure)
Training in child growth and development.
Previous experience working with pediatric population is preferred.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with a desire to develop outstanding leadership skills.
Must demonstrate a commitment to high standards of patient care and customer relations.
CPR certification prior to start.
