BSWH is seeking a licensed psychologist to join our integrated primary care team. The psychologist will work collaboratively with primary care providers and other healthcare professionals to deliver evidence-based behavioral health services. The ideal candidate is skilled in brief, solution-focused interventions and passionate about promoting whole-person health in a fast-paced clinical setting.

\nKey Responsibilities:
\n\nDirect Patient Care includes individual therapy, family therapy and warm hand-offs from the PCP team member.\nProvide brief, evidence-based assessments and interventions for a wide range of mental health, behavioral, and psychosocial concerns (e.g., depression, anxiety, chronic disease management, substance use, sleep difficulties).\nConduct risk assessments and crisis interventions as needed.\nAddress lifestyle and behavioral factors impacting physical health conditions (e.g., diabetes, hypertension, obesity, smoking cessation).\n\nCollaboration with Care Team:
\n\nPartner with primary care providers to develop integrated treatment plans addressing patients’ medical and behavioral health needs.\nProvide real-time consultation and recommendations to healthcare providers regarding psychosocial concerns.\nParticipate in multidisciplinary team meetings to enhance care coordination.\n\nPatient Education and Advocacy:
\n\nOffer psychoeducation to patients and families on mental health conditions, stress management, and coping strategies.\nFacilitate referrals to specialty behavioral health care or community resources when indicated.\nProgram Development and Quality Improvement:\nContribute to the development of integrated care protocols and workflows.\nMonitor and evaluate the effectiveness of behavioral health services within the clinic.\nProvide input on population health initiatives to promote mental health and wellness.\n\nAbout the Community:

QUALIFICATIONS:
\n\nDoctorate Degree in Medicine (Ph.D or Psy.D) in Psychology from an APA accredited program. \nLicensed to Practice Medicine in the state of Texas by the Texas Medical Board\nWhere Applicable- Employee shall be currently board certified in his or her specialty or demonstrate active pursuit of board certification as defined by the appropriate specialty board of the American Board of Medical Specialties or the Bureau of Osteopathic Specialists\n\n\n
