Responsibilities

Provides supervised psychological testing and scoring in the areas of cognitive skills, personality, academic achievement, occupational/vocational interests, etc. Provides written and verbal report of test results and behavioral observations to supervising psychologist. Assists staff psychologists in treating patients referred for certain types of cognitive and behavioral remediation. Bachelor's Degree in psychology or related field required.

Administer, score, and record neuropsychological tests (including pencil and paper and computerized tests) according to guidelines and protocols under the supervision and direction of a neuropsychologist. Test administration will typically take 1-5 hours per patient.Enter data and behavioral observations from test protocols and interviews onto summary sheets and into computer databases and files as needed.Provide computerized statistical analyses.Track use of test supplies/inventory and order supplies as needed.Design and produce test summary sheets and questionnaires in Microsoft and Acrobat.Facilitate research subject recruitment for clinical trials and other studies by presentations to physicians and community groups.Demonstrate competence in critical thinking, interpersonal relationships, technical skills, customer service, and patient safety.
Qualifications

MINIMUM

Bachelor's degree in psychology or related field required.

National Association of Psychometrists (NAP) certification required within 4 years of hire/transfer. (This certification is to be tracked by the facility under the PROFDEVL code.)

Computer skills with word processing, spreadsheets, slide show presentations, and computerized neuropsychological assessment and statistical software required.

PREFERRED

Master's Degree 

2 years experience in healthcare field with direct patient contact 

Previous training in neuropsychological test administration
