As a Psychosocial Rehabilitation Groups Coordinator, you'll be responsible for providing individual, group, family counseling, and other practical support to meet the needs of clients and the goals of treatment.

Key Responsibilities:

Budget Management: Responsible for working within and delegating responsibilities for the PSR budget, including maintaining various Connections accounts for social and vocational programs.Ordering Supplies: Order equipment and supplies for the PSR program.Activity Supervision: Supervise and assist in the preparation and leadership of social, educational, and life skill activities.Coordination: Coordinate efforts with SEP Coordinator to create continuous treatment models within the Connections Program.Client Management: Maintain PSR client list and delegate monthly progress notes, quarterly reviews, and treatment plans, ensuring quality assurance in all charting requirements for PSR clients.Community Liaison: Act as a liaison between community support and residential programs to promote awareness of PSR and its functions.Client Engagement: Interact with clients to build relationships, including providing transportation when necessary.Data Reporting: Prepare monthly statistics and track staff productivity.Team Cohesion: Promote Connections team cohesion through weekly staff meetings, training, and team-building activities.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedural manuals.Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to speak effectively to groups.Adaptability and initiative in performing effectively in changing job demands.Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to follow written, oral, or diagrammatic instructions.

Experience and/or Education Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Psychology, Sociology, Social Work, or a related field.At least two (2) years of relevant experience.

Supervisory Requirements:

Communicate the strategic direction of the organization and encourage participation from team members.Provide leadership and guidance across all aspects of the department.Actively monitor the identification, development, and execution of strategic objectives.Involve team members as appropriate to achieve goals.Effectively communicate updates and changes within the department or company.Manage difficult team situations with respect and discretion.Champion change and manage the implementation of new ideas effectively.Reinforce a team approach across all functions.

Employment Requirements:

Successful completion of a background check, including criminal record, driving record, abuse/neglect, and fingerprint check.Completion of New Hire Orientation at the beginning of employment.All training requirements, including Relias, at the beginning of employment and annually thereafter.Current driver’s license, acceptable driving record, and current auto insurance.
