Position Summary
Provides clinical services and psychotherapy for clients impacted by behavioral health and substance use disorders.
Primary Position Responsibilities
1.Provides psychosocial assessment, discharge planning, and therapeutic programming (including individual, group, and family therapy).
2.Maintains compliance with all standards of JCAHO, Department of Health, regulatory agencies, and specialty recommendations.
3.Maintains Patient Safety.
4.Completes Documentation of Care.
5.Maintains Professional Development.
Qualifications
Minimum Education:
Required:
Master’s Degree in Social Work, Counseling, or Psychology
Preferred:
None
Minimum Years of Experience (Amount, Type and Variation):
Required:
Two years clinical experience
Preferred:
Experience working with mental health and substance use populations
License, Registry or Certification:
Required:
NJ License LCSW or LPC
Preferred:

Knowledge, Skills and/or Abilities:
Required:
Clinical training in psychotherapy and substance use. Must have the ability to facilitate groups. Skilled in Crisis Intervention. Excellent interpersonal skills, ability to organize and prioritize, works effectively in stressful situations.
