Riverway Clinics has an exciting opportunity for an experienced full time Psychotherapist to provide integrated mental health treatment at our Andover location. This position will work collaboratively to support our primary care colleagues, using a brief treatment model of care that includes assessment, diagnosis, psychotherapy, and referrals. Previous experience working with multidisciplinary teams of medical healthcare professionals is preferred.
We are looking for a clinician with experience assessing, diagnosing and treating a broad age-range of mental health issues. Experience with video telehealth is a plus.
REQUIRED PROFESSIONAL
QUALIFICATIONS:
· Doctorate or Master’s Degree in a recognized behavioral health discipline Doctorate level (PhD, Ed.D or Psy D) psychologist or Masters Level therapist (LICSW) required with MN license.
· Licensure at the Master’s or Doctorate level from the appropriate state board permitting the full scope of practice defined in the job description.
· Two years of supervised clinical experience with a broad range of presenting problems and therapies, including solution focused brief therapy and cognitive behavior therapy.
· Familiarity and ability to conduct diagnostic assessments.
· Background in both child and adult services.
· Demonstrated computer skills using Microsoft Office products or similar applications.
· Demonstrated excellent oral and written communication skills.
· Strong organizational skills.
· Demonstrated problem solving skills.
· Ability to work independently.
· Experience with an automated medical record.
ACCOUNTABILITIES:
· Provide direct care behavioral health services, including assessment, psychotherapy, group therapy, emergency services and crisis intervention to patients presenting with primary behavioral health problems.
· Provide coordination and continuity of care when multiple modalities of behavioral health care are required by patients, or when multiple providers are involved in the patient’s care.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary primary care team and with outside professionals, agencies, and institutions as needed to coordinate the behavioral health care of patients.
- Maintain records and reports documenting all contacts with patients in accordance with departmental and professional standards.
- Provide education and support to members and their families to encourage compliance with medical and behavioral health regimes. ·
- Provide case consultation to other care team staff members, utilizing specialized skill and knowledge, such as knowledge of particular clinical issues, populations, treatment approaches and assessment methods. ·
- Actively manage his/her caseload to meet individual and team productivity goals. Be responsive to the needs of the patient population.
- Collaborate with other team members, service area members and management staff in planning most effective division of clinical work. Shift focus of practice according to changing needs of the department and patients. ·
- Participate as a member of an interdisciplinary team, of a service area, of a professional discipline, and of the department in various planning, program development, professional development and quality improvement activities.
-Participate in intra- and inter-departmental committees, task forces and projects, as requested by management. ·
-Provide training, clinical supervision and mentorship to other behavioral health staff, as requested by management.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
No lifting requirements are identified but the potential for lifting exists. Adequate vision, hearing and tactile motor skills.
