If you are qualified to teach at Atlantic Cape, your materials will be maintained in a pool of qualified candidates. As teaching opportunities arise throughout the academic year, you may be contacted by the College for an interview. Compensation: $780 per contact hour Examples of Duties ISAS - CISM include the following disciplines; Technological Competency Game Design Computer Network Cyber Security Programming Database Design Typical Qualifications In most disciplines, a master's degree is required. For some disciplines, instructors may be hired with a bachelor's degree and/or appropriate experience. Teaching experience is helpful, but not required. Tuition Waiver - adjuncts may enroll for one credit course, tuition-free, during any semester they are teaching. Paid sick leave in accordance with the NJ Paid Sick Leave Law ABP (Alternate Benefit Program (https://www.state.nj.us/treasury/pensions/pension-active-abp.shtml) is a defined contribution retirement program for adjuncts. Adjuncts contribute 5% of base salary and the college contributes 8% of base salary. There are seven State-authorized ABP investment carriers. Life insurance benefits through ABP are payable to the beneficiary at 3.5X the member's salary.
