Description We are seeking a Part Time Bank Teller for our banking industry operations in Framingham, Massachusetts. This role offers a short term contract employment opportunity with a primary focus on processing customer transactions, maintaining accurate records, and handling customer inquiries in a retail banking environment. Responsibilities: • Accurately process customer deposits, including cash verification and endorsement validation. • Provide customers with receipts post transactions. • Handle cash check transactions for customers and non-customers. • Manage the sale of monetary instruments like official bank checks. • Execute foreign currency purchase and sale transactions. • Ensure proper filing of all large cash transactions and monetary instrument sale reports as mandated by the government. • Process payments for different types of loans and credit card cash advances. • Assist customers in accessing safe deposit areas, subject to branch configuration. • Identify potential financial needs of customers and non-customers and refer them to the appropriate platform staff for follow-up Requirements • Minimum of 1 year of experience in a banking or financial institution • Proven ability to answer inbound calls effectively and professionally • Demonstrated experience with cash activity and cash handling • Familiarity with checking and maintaining bank balances • Experience in handling bank deposits and bank transactions • Strong customer service skills, with the ability to handle inquiries and complaints in a courteous manner • Knowledge and understanding of retail banking practices and procedures Robert Half is the world’s first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
