PT Finance Enterprise Partner
The Position

The Opportunity

As PT Finance Enterprise Partner, you will work in a dynamic environment and manage many business relationships in Pharma Technical Operations (PT) and across Pharma, Pharma Finance, and the Roche Group. You will meet the challenge to find the right balance in an environment with risk and reward trade-offs (Cost, Inventory Management, Product and Asset Lifecycle Strategy, New Technologies and Innovation, Regulatory and Quality requirements, P&L, Balance Sheet and Cash impacts). This role will require you to understand existing and new manufacturing technologies, the pipeline, commercial risks & opportunities for launched and pre-launch products, dynamic regulatory environments, and Supply Chain challenges. This will include working across PT functions and sites, Early and Late Stage Development, Global Product Strategy, Pricing, Tax, Partnering, Chugai, Regions, and Affiliates. Partner with business functions, leading, influencing and navigating to achieve operational and financial ambitions.

Responsibilities:

Self-starter and effectively lead networks of people to deliver business value and objectives

Clearly communicate and synthesize complex financial issues and respective consequences

Enable cost transparency and fact based decision making by helping surfacing and modelling alternatives (business & financial risks and implications) and ensure business cases are challenged and robust

Manage sourcing decisions and related investments in collaboration with product teams and sites

Actively collaborate with the finance network and help the business to have an E2E view and steer the respective trade-offs towards achieving the Pharma Vision

Facilitate fast and efficient decision making. Act as business owner and strive to have the best business outcomes

Collaborate closely with Manufacturing Units, global functions and any other stakeholder relevant for the business topic you are dealing with as part of business priorities 

Bring strong business acumen combined with an entrepreneurial sense to support implementation of business solutions

Foster a culture of continuous improvement that thrives on diversity & inclusion

​Who You Are

Master or equivalent degree in Business, Finance, or Accounting

9+ years of relevant finance experience - at least four years in a manufacturing environment

Experience in the manufacturing controlling area or Finance Business Partnering

A passion for change, simplification and process improvement, as well as the ability to see through complexity and identify and remove waste 

Resilience and ability to adjust to fast changing environment and to promote and apply the VACC leadership principles

Strong interpersonal skills, collaboration, and influencing skills and ability to build trusting and productive relationships

Entrepreneurial spirit and curiosity that is inspirational to others, generating ideas and seeing them through to action

Ability to navigate through a complex, broad and diverse organization and can liaise effectively with different organizations (supply chain, sites, local finance, commercial, tax,…)

Ability to understand business context and to apply judgement towards prioritization and decision making

The expected salary range for this position based on the primary location of California state is $152,700 - $283,700.  Actual pay will be determined based on experience, qualifications, geographic location, and other job-related factors permitted by law.  A discretionary annual bonus may be available based on individual and Company performance.
