Being a PT Instructional Support Specialist at Devereux has its Advantages
You will work with other dedicated professionals who share your passion for helping individuals in need. This position will support teacher's direction by providing assistance with academic, social, and behavioral needs of assigned clients. You will assist in the implementation of a basic educational programming and performing duties as directed by the building administrator or classroom teacher inclusive of individual tutoring or one-on-one support for a student with special needs.
Pay rate: $19.50 - $22.23/hr (based upon experience)
Schedule: Up to 32 hours per week with flexibility during the hours that school is in session
Every day as a PT Instructional Support Specialist you will:

QualificationsEDUCATION: High School Diploma required. Associates Degree or completion of two years of post-secondary education from an accredited college or university preferred.
EXPERIENCE: Previous experience working in a special education or behavioral healthcare setting with students with severe/complex behavioral/emotional issues preferred.
