PT Marketing Assistant
Description We are seeking a proactive and creative Part-Time Marketing Assistant to join our higher education team. This role requires a dynamic individual who can manage marketing operations, support events, and assist in executing impactful campaigns. Key Responsibilities: + Vendor and Campaign Management: + Manage advertising projects with external vendors, negotiate vendor contracts, and process purchase orders. + Oversee and assist external vendors in the execution of creative campaigns and events. + Marketing Asset Coordination: + Maintain and manage inventory of print and digital assets, ensuring creative alignment across marketing channels. + Market Research & Campaign Planning: + Conduct market research to gather insights into consumer needs, habits, and trends. + Collaborate with team members to brainstorm and develop creative marketing campaigns. + Campaign Execution: + Assist in outbound and inbound marketing activities (content creation, digital optimization, advertising, and event planning). + Plan and implement targeted campaigns via social media, email, mail, print, and other channels (e.g., TV, radio). + Performance Analysis: + Gather and analyze marketing metrics (e.g., campaign results, conversion rates, website traffic) to refine future strategies. + Event Support: + Assist with the planning, development, and coordination of college events and special initiatives. + Budget Monitoring: + Track expenditures and manage the budget for designated marketing efforts. + Digital Billboard Management: + Manage content updates for the digital billboard to ensure information is accurate and timely. + Collaborative Content Creation: + Partner with graphic and web designers to develop eye-catching print, digital, and multimedia content. + Digital Marketing Support: + Contribute to digital strategies, such as search engine marketing (SEM) and email marketing. + Editing and Coordination: + Edit and update information for printed publications and advertising campaigns. + Oversee the ordering, customization, and distribution of promotional items for branding and recruitment. + Resource and Equipment Management: + Coordinate the reservation of marketing equipment and manage the supply and distribution of publications and promotional materials. Requirements Qualifications: + A bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field (or ongoing enrollment in such programs is highly preferred). + Proven ability to manage multiple projects, meet deadlines, and remain detail-oriented. + Experience in digital marketing, event coordination, or creative content production is a plus. + Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and familiarity with marketing tools (e.g., Google Analytics, design software) is advantageous. + Strong written and verbal communication skills. + Passion for higher education and a demonstrated ability to connect with diverse audiences. Time Commitment: 20 hours per week with flexibility depending on project deadlines or events.
