Responsibilities:

We are looking for PT Assistants to join our Leon S. Peters Rehabilitation Center! This 30-bed inpatient rehab center is located on our downtown Fresno campus. Offering the flexibility of a per-diem schedule, you will learn underneath our Physical Therapists, assisting in the care of patients, performing procedures and treatments that restore function, relieve pain and prevent permanent disability. With a background in customer service and a personal demeanor, you will work with clinicians to support  patients. You will be key in the implementation of our patient’s care plans, organizing patient care and discharge planning efficiently. 

Qualifications:

Education & Experience

High School Diploma, High School Equivalency (HSE) or Completion of a CHS Approved Individualized Education Plan (IEP) Certificate requiredSuccessful completion of one of the following is required:Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapy Assistant degree programSat for the national examination and received a passing score to qualify for licensures occurring before January 1, 2010 as per Centers for Medicare and Medicaid ServicesPTA - State of California Physical Therapist Assistant License requiredException may be made for Physical Therapy Assistant License Applicant with a requirement to obtain licensure within 180 days of hire or transfer into positionBLS - Current Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers by American Heart Association (AHA) required
