Mölnlycke is now looking for a new PTP Accountant to join our EMEA Finance GBS team, positioned at our factory in Mikkeli, Finland. The PTP Accountant plays a key role in managing end-to-end processes within the PTP function, ensuring smooth workflows, timely payments, and compliance with policies. With a focus on efficiency and continuous improvement, this position helps identify areas for optimization, supports automation initiatives, and contributes to maintaining accurate financial records. The PTP Accountant works closely with colleagues and stakeholders to foster open communication and ensure alignment with the organization's values and GBS mindset. What you’ll do + Manage and execute end-to-end (E2E) processes within the PTP area, ensuring policy compliance and efficient workflow. + Support timely payments and contribute to initiatives improving payment accuracy. + Identify inefficiencies, address root causes, and suggest solutions towards a standardized and harmonized workflow. + Offer suggestions for scalability through automation. + Support implementation of new solutions by testing and adopting tools introduced to streamline and automate processes. + Actively engage in quality assurance efforts to secure a high level of accuracy and efficiency in all transactions. + Perform regular reconciliations of accounts payable and related balance sheet accounts, identifying discrepancies, and supporting analysis to maintain accurate financial records. What You’ll Need: + 3+ years of working experience in relevant accounting area. + Ability to understand and apply accounting principles in daily tasks, with a structured approach to problem-solving. + Basic understanding of KPIs related to accounts payable processes and ability to work with data for performance insights. + Fluent in English and Finnish + Self-motivation with a collaborative spirit. + Openess to continuous learning and committed to personal development to stay updated on best practices. + Continuous improvement and learning mindset, with an openness to new tools and methods for enhancing process efficiency. + Strong communication abilities, adaptable to both internal and external stakeholders. + Analytical mindset. We see it as added value if you also have: + Degree in Economics, Business Administration, Financial Accounting, or equivalent experience in accounts payable or accounting roles. + SAP experience + Experience from accounting within a global environment.
