Your New Role...
This position exists to support the Procure to Pay (PTP) workstream of Warner Bros. Discovery WBD. This person will have overall responsibility for performing PTP functions involved in maintaining PTP processes, ensuring Sox compliance, maintaining a robust controls environment providing updates/reporting of overall Procure to Pay Operations.
Your Role Accountabilities…
Deliver world class / proactive customer service to internal and external stakeholders while adhering to company policies and procedures
Support PTP processes to ensure operational success (i.e., vendor creation is timely, invoices match to PO’s correctly, invoices route to the appropriate coders, etc.)
Close collaboration with Purchasing, Payments, RTR teams to resolve business/vendors inquiries
Maintain process documentation/work instructions for countries supported, comply with SOX requirements
Support month end/year end activities (reconciliation of balance accounts of Accounts Payable)
Ensure business users and vendors follow defined PTP processes, support education of business users to follow correct procedures
Monitor and reconcile aging PTP activity, including interfacing applications
Support integration and onboarding of new acquisitions into Warner Bros. Discovery processes and systems
Support PTP system changes, improvements and new company codes created with testing as required and support new business projects, acquisitions and integrations where needed
Serve as a subject matter expert in PTP processes & technologies (OpenText VIM, SAP ECC, Blackline) for non-content spend.
Qualifications & Experience…
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting/ Finance is preferred or equivalent experience
M.in 3 years of experience in AP area
Basic knowledge of tax requirements for AP invoices
Experience in SAP is a must
Experience in the Media Industry and/or Media Sales is preferred
A working knowledge of Microsoft Office products (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
Should have a complete understanding of the PTP process
Strong listening, verbal, and written communication skills
Ability to work independently, creatively, and efficiently
Proven track record in meeting deadlines
Transition experience preferable
