Summary This is a public notice flyer to notify interested applicants of anticipated vacancies. Applications will not be accepted through this flyer. Responsibilities You will conduct studies to identify historic and cultural sites of interest, funding sources, and program requirements. You will receive and process public requests for visits to historic sites included in the Joint Region Marianas Public Access plan. You will research and resolve complex issues and problems associated with access to historic and cultural sites. You will plan and facilitate discussions and negotiations on multiple courses of action of plan implementation. You will serve as the primary escort for public visits to historic sites of interest and for cultural activities. You will provide minimal site maintenance and monitoring in accordance with an established site monitoring and management plan. Requirements Conditions of Employment Qualifications Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-09 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: - Practical knowledge of and skill in developing and administering public access program for public visits to historic, cultural and natural resources sites of interest; - skill in using various software applications such as word processing, electronic mail, spreadsheets, graphics, and other software applications to develop, process and release information such as site bulletins and other public information documents. Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge, and skills and can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to paid employment. Education Additional Information This position is covered by the Department of Defense Priority Placement Program. Several vacancies may be filled.
