Responsibilities:

Develop and execute multi-channel external communication strategies that advance the organization’s goals and align with overall communications objectives.Serve as the point of contact with media. Engage and build relationships with key financial, electronics/technology industry, policy, and trade media outlets, expanding current relationships to include new targets and channels.Partner with leaders on critical projects such as footprint expansions/consolidations, acquisitions, divestitures, integrations, etc.Anticipate and manage risks to the company’s reputation, working closely with global cross-functional teams to develop proactive mitigation plans and ensure effective stakeholder communication.Serve as brand steward and oversee content and message development in support of company narrative.Build and implement thought leadership platforms for key executives aligned to growth opportunities or areas of high interest to the company.Serve as a crisis communications point of contact and implement protocols and best practices for preparedness and management.Lead and implement the company’s Community Impact strategy aligned to critical industry needs and sustainability strategy. Create strategic and coordinated approach to community engagement efforts across global footprint.Oversee communications measurement, including the design and operation of relevant dashboards and reports.Manage external agencies, ensuring accountability for impact and delivery to budget.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Public Relations, Marketing, or a related field.Experience in the electronics, technology industry, or related sector required.Minimum of 10 years of communications experience with demonstrated success in external communications for publicly traded companies.Proven ability to develop and execute communication strategies that align to overall company communications objectives, in a complex, fast-paced, and dynamic environment.Track record of engaging external stakeholders (media, influencers, thought leaders, etc.) in key geographies including North America and Asia.Strong leadership skills with experience managing cross-functional teams and collaborating with senior management.Excellent oral and written communication skills with the ability to simplify complex issues and act quickly with sensitivity to a range of external perspectives.Clear interest and understanding of current affairs, politics, and public relations.Proactive self-starter, dynamic strategic thinker, and resilient problem-solver who thrives in ambiguity.
