Public Affairs Manager (Contractor)

Job Description:

The role works with Royal Canin Korea Corporate Affairs Team based in Seoul.

Public Affairs Manager provides strategic direction and action-oriented planning in the development of public affairs strategies.

He/she implements strategies to enhance the awareness and understanding of Royal Canin’s Purpose to support favourable business environment among key stakeholders such a government, policy makers, key opinion leaders, academic societies, NGOs as well as general public.

This is a contractor position for 10 months.

What are we looking for?

BS/BA in public relations, public policy, business, or a related field.5 + years of experience in public affairs or communicationsExperience in working in multidisciplinary teamsExcellent interpersonal and communication skills; both verbal and written including the ability to communicate effectively with all levels of the organization.Collaborative and inclusive team player.Fluency in both written and spoken English.

What will be your key responsibilities?Works with the Head of Corporate Affairs to develop objectives, set priorities, and participate in planning for the Function.Monitor and identify emerging policy issues and opportunities in partnership with the Corporate Affairs Head.Develops and implements a comprehensive public affairs program for awareness, understanding, support for RC Purpose targeting key stakeholders and general public with the Head of Corporate Affairs.Executes stakeholder management for RC Purpose and shaping external environment.Manage the process of donations, community contribution, social responsibility programs, and sustainability campaigns  Manage projects and budget for annual Public Affairs programs with 3rd party agencies and external consultancies.
