Public Finance Vice President- Affordable Housing

About this role:

Wells Fargo is seeking a Public Finance Vice President to join the Affordable Housing team of our Municipal Products Group (MPG).


In this role, you will:

Lead complex initiatives as a high-level individual contributorMake decisions in complex and multi-faceted situations requiring understanding of Investment Banking for the affordable housing sector,  policies, procedures, and compliance requirements that influence and lead a broader work team to meet deliverables and drive new initiativesCollaborate and consult with Investment Banking peers, colleagues, and manager to resolve issues and achieve goalsLead Investment Banking projects and teamsDevelop and maintain strong relationships with internal and external clients


Required Qualifications:

5+ years of Investment Banking experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education


Desired Qualifications:

5+ years direct public finance work experienceStrong knowledge of financial markets, and an understanding of public finance market. Must clearly demonstrate execution experience with affordable housing municipal transactions.Familiarity with industry software tools like DBC Housing and CFX HousingExcellent Microsoft Office skills (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)Excellent quantitative, analytical, communication and presentation skillsStrong writing skills, including memos, white papers, and RFP/RFQ preparationAn energetic self-starter who is detail oriented with strong quantitative skills and enjoys working in a team environment; able to work with little direct supervision and thrives in a high energy environment.Ability to source and execute transactions independently. Ability to direct junior team members.Bachelor's Degree or higher in Business, Finance, Accounting or related field


Job Expectations:

Ability to travel up to 20% or as neededRegistration for FINRA 52 must be completed within 90 days of hire date if it is not available for transfer upon hire. FINRA recognized equivalents will be accepted.Registration for FINRA Series 79 must be completed within 90 days of hire date if it is not available for transfer upon hire. FINRA recognized equivalents will be accepted.Registration for FINRA Series 63 (or 66) must be completed within 90 days of hire date if it is not available for transfer upon hire. FINRA recognized equivalents will be accepted.

Pay Range
 

Reflected is the base pay range offered for this position. Pay may vary depending on factors including but not limited to achievements, skills, experience, or work location. The range listed is just one component of the compensation package offered to candidates.

$173,300.00 - $359,900.00
