The Business Analyst Senior Consultant is a professional who translates business user requirements to the Robotic Process Automation (RPA) technical team. Demonstrated experience and ability to apply process improvement and reengineering methodologies and principles to conduct process modernization and improvement projects with minimal oversight. Ability to apply training, methodology development and evaluation across all phases of the modernization and improvement project. Ability to identify best practices, change management and business management techniques, organizational development, activity and data modeling, or information system development methods and practices. The candidate has a clear understanding of healthcare and provides innovative recommendations to improve practices and to address challenges. This individual also assists with program management and responds to ad hoc requests for recommendations as needed.

What You Will Do:

Data Analytics. Uses mathematical, statistical, econometric or other scientific methods and techniques in analyzing problems of management and technical nature. Experience in research regarding service matters and combined doctrine, operations, liaison and coordination with process stakeholders. Provides direct support to technical and operational activities. Identifies sources of relevant information.Process Improvement. Leverage data capabilities to identify opportunities for the development and dissemination of best practices, as well as to help identify and prioritize opportunities for the identification, prioritization, and execution of RPA initiatives.  Evaluates factors such as reporting formats required, cost constraints, and need for security restrictions to determine hardware configuration. May perform analytical and evaluation tasks in functional areas such as labor cost accounting and workforce management.Program Management. Directs the activities of other analysts in the analysis of data and information. Plans and establishes record and data storage and retrieval systems. Evaluates data and information to monitor status of ongoing operations. Alerts key personnel of operational problems and suggest potential solutions or methods for collecting additional information. Aids in the development of technical and operational documents and plans. Aids in the implementation of technical and operational activities.


What You Will Need:

Bachelor's Degree3 years of experience in data analysisMust be on site 2-3 days per week.Must live in or be willing to relocate to the Washington DC/Maryland/Virginia (DMV) metro area

What Would Be Nice to Have:

Proven ability to synthesize disparate data from multiple sources and coalesce into an accurate and useful analytic product, incorporating Service and MHS strategic goals for use by leadership in both tactical and strategic decision making.  Demonstrated ability to provide accurate and timely analytical products containing well‐reasoned and cogent discussion points providing leadership with substantiated options or courses of action.  Demonstrated ability to organize/participate/lead working groups to develop analytic products and byproducts or to develop/understand processes leading to effective optimization of analytic efforts.  Demonstrated ability to effectively and clearly communicate analytical discoveries and appropriate recommendations/mitigation strategies to all levels of customers including Senior DHA leadership.   Demonstrated advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office products PLUS added software/hardware skills and capabilities.  Ability to critically examine and evaluate, problem-solve.Demonstrated ability to undertake and complete multiple tasks with multiple deadlines simultaneously.Ability to deliver products on time, on schedule, within budget. Flexibility and ability to adapt to rapidly changing and often time-constrained environment. Ability to acquire skills/capabilities necessary to meet growing needs/demands of systems/software/hardware. Strong knowledge of statistical and analytical tools and techniques, data visualization, and business intelligence tools. Experience in designing and implementing data analysis strategies and methodologies, including the use of big data platforms and tools. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with interdisciplinary teams and stakeholders. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret and communicate complex data insights to diverse audiences. Experience in managing and analyzing large and complex data sets.Ability to maintain confidentiality and comply with applicable regulations and standards. Master's degree in Data Science, Analytics, or a related field. Experience in data analysis in a healthcare or government setting. Demonstrated experience the Military Health System (MHS) Medical Expense Performance and Reporting System (MEPRS) and the Defense Medical Human Resource System-internet (DMHRSi). Demonstrated experience working in the DoD, DHA, or Military Health System (MHS) and their respective internal systems, processes, and procedures.Experience with Tableau and/or Microsoft Power BI
