We lead national initiatives that focus on delivering resources, tools and strategies that support the physical, social and mental health of teachers, staff and students and their families across our KP markets. An emerging priority within the team's portfolio of work is supporting implementation of new legal and regulatory requirements to cover and coordinate care with schools in California. This will be one of the primary focus areas of the intern's time with the Thriving Schools team. Intern Project(s): 1. Conducting a landscape analysis to document best practices and recommendations for supporting care coordination and data sharing between schools and health systems. 2. Supporting the development of a new dashboard to track and report on school behavioral health services delivered to KP members in schools. 3. Supporting KP's to engage national health and education leaders in efforts to advance efforts to address the health-related causes of chronic absence. Preferred Qualifications: + 3.0 GPA or above + Advanced analytical and problem-solving skills + Proven ability to build effective working relationships as well as strong interpersonal skills + Excellent verbal and written communication skills + Ability to learn quickly and experience producing high quality work in short periods of time.
