Here’s how:  Manage the development and execution of all media relations efforts and public relations campaigns to increase consumer awareness of Home Hardware including sales and marketing campaigns, brand/product launches, awards, store openings/acquisitions, corporate announcements, and events.Help Dealers take advantage of local media opportunities to increase their presence in their communities.Manage Home’s Public Relations Agency of Record.Work cross functionally within the organization (including but not limited to: Marketing, Merchandising, and the Leadership Team) to manage both proactive and reactive media relations.Manage an annual PR budget.Prepare for and assist with corporate events, trade shows, charitable activities and other organized sponsorship and media events.Assist with the management and execution of various Government Relations initiatives. Oversee Home Hardware’s charitable giving strategy.Conduct media training sessions for Home Hardware spokespeople.
