Known as “The Birthplace of College Football, Rutgers hosted Princeton on Nov. 6, 1869 in the first intercollegiate football game, with RU earning a 6-4 victory. Posting Summary Rutgers, The State University of New Jersey is seeking a Public Relations Specialist I for the Athletics Marketing and Communications department.
Among the key duties of the position are the following: Oversees, coordinates, and manages all marketing, game presentation, fan experience, digital and traditional advertising, and promotional efforts for Rutgers Athletics for assigned sports including football and basketball. Assists with other duties as assigned, such as pregame events, enhancing the gameday atmosphere and leading video board presentation, selection of music and campus/community athletics-marketing relations.
