Description

ICF Next is looking for a Public Relations trainee to join the PR team.

Main PR responsibilities

Mapping of media outlets, podcasters, stakeholder organisations and influencers within the framework of European projects/campaignsPitching and reaching out to media outlets, podcasters, stakeholder organisations and influencers by e-mail and phone (mostly in English but any additional languages is an asset)Providing support to the handling and coordination of our network of local PR agencies implementing projects at a local levelChecking online content generated by online usersAssessing the content based on a set of community guidelines and flagging the content that is not in line with these guidelines Monitoring PR and social media activities and projects/campaigns’ pick up via dedicated monitoring tools or manual desk research Analysis, reporting and presentation of results in dedicated reports and presentationsHandling of administrative tasks

Requirements

Attention to details Good storytelling and pitching skillsGood written communication skillsExcellent knowledge of English (any other language will be considered an asset)Good understanding of EU institutions and interest in communicating about EU policies to EU citizensAt ease with Microsoft Office, mailings and survey toolsProactive, solution-oriented and can-do mindsetGood interpersonal skillsGood organisational skills, multitasking and ability to meet deadlinesWillingness in acquiring new skills and undertaking new tasksQuick learner, receptive to new information and assignments
