About the role:

As a Public Sector GTM Strategist at AvePoint, you will play a pivotal role in developing and executing strategic marketing initiatives tailored for government agencies, educational institutions, and other public sector organizations. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive brand awareness, support business development efforts, and contribute to AvePoint's mission of enabling secure and efficient digital collaboration.

Key Responsibilities:

Public Sector Strategy: Drive AvePoint's go-to-market strategy for the Public Sector market and influence how we prioritize and win target markets, product categories, and buyer personas. Set the roadmap for marketing activities, which will drive new pipelines and close open pipelines. You will align closely with sales to identify areas of priority. Monitor competitive landscapes, market trends/threats, and opportunities, including regulations and compliance, to help customers achieve more with AvePoint. Campaign Development and Execution: Adapt quarterly sales plays and marketing campaign to the public sector audiences, including government agencies, educational institutions, and non-profit organizations. Collaborate with internal teams to create compelling content and messaging that is aligned with industry value drivers Stakeholder Engagement: Help evolve AvePoint's go-to-market by monitoring trends, evaluating customer needs, and prioritizing activities with product marketing, sales, and solutions leaders. Build and nurture relationships with key stakeholders in the public sector, including government officials, decision-makers, and industry influencers. Represent AvePoint at relevant industry events and conferences. Content Creation: In partnership with the product marketing, content, and brand teams, develop and oversee the creation of content that addresses the specific needs and interests of the public sector audience. Ensure that all messaging aligns with AvePoint's values and resonates with public sector stakeholders.

Qualifications:

5+ years in US Public Sector roles, including marketing Preferred experience supporting a $100M+ technology organization in data security and management Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Public Relations, or a related field. Direct experience in Federal, State and Local, and Education market segments, including field sales, services, and go-to-market programs Deep understanding of the public sector landscape, including government procurement processes. Strong project management and organizational skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Familiarity with marketing technologies and tools.
