At Lenovo we strive to put more innovation in the hands of more people so they can do more amazing things. We are seeking enthusiastic, career-minded professionals to join our Inside Sales Team in Morrisville, NC as a Sales Manager for our team of Public Sector Mid-Market Client Managers.
The Mid-Market Sales Manager position will be responsible for developing sales talent, uncovering opportunities, selling the benefits of the full catalog of Lenovo products, and selling against the competition. This individual will lead a department of Mid-Market Client Managers in selling Lenovo products, services, solutions to HiEd, K12, and GOV customers through outbound phone calls and on-site customer meetings.
Responsibilities include:
* Develop and cultivate client relationships as well as achieving profit and revenue objectives.
* Be a leader in building and developing processes driving client satisfaction, operational efficiency, new account development, repeat sales, product upgrades, problem resolution, sales campaign programs, and business controls to maximize results.
* Ensure that products, services, and solutions recommended to customers will fulfill their needs.
* Manage a team of Mid-Market Client Managers responsible for Acquisition and the Retention and Development of customers
* Manage all aspects of complex sales and drive to close. The successful candidate will have demonstrated team building and leadership experience.
* 10% travel required quarterly.
Basic Requirements:
* BS or BA degree
* Previous field (outside) sales experience and inside sales experience
* At least 2 years previous sales team leadership and/or management
Preferred Requirements:
* PC Industry/IT Hardware sales preferred
* Must have worked in a quota-carrying sales environment
* Excellent communication, collaboration skills, and ability to influence others
* Demonstrated experience in showing quarter over quarter growth in sales revenue with large accounts
**This is a hybrid role requiring work from our Morrisville, NC office at least three days a week.
