Description We are in search of a Tax Accountant to join our client, a prominent Law Firm in New York City. In this role, you will be engaged in the preparation of High Net worth, Trust, and Estate tax returns, supporting the firms Private Client practice. The position offers a short term contract employment opportunity through the end of Tax Season. Responsibilities: • Preparation of High Net Worth tax returns, ensuring accuracy and compliance with tax laws • Support the Private Client group by preparing Trust and Estate tax returns • Utilize CCH ProSystems to manage and streamline tax preparation processes • Assist in maintaining accurate client records and documentation • Actively engage in resolving client inquiries regarding their tax returns • Monitor client accounts and take necessary actions in relation to their tax matters • Work in a law firm setting, adhering to the industry's standards and protocols • Leverage your skills in Estate Tax, Fiduciary Income Tax Return, and Trust Tax Returns to deliver high-quality services to our clients. Requirements • Candidate must possess strong skills in CCH Prosystem fx • Proficiency in Estate Tax is required. • Must have prior experience in Fiduciary Income Tax Return. • The candidate should have a solid background in Tax Preparation. • Experience in Trust Tax Returns is necessary. • An in-depth understanding of Estate Tax Return is required.
