Universal Pictures International Australia is a division of NBCUniversal. For almost a century, Universal has been known for its diverse slate of films, including classics such as Jaws, the Jurassic Park series, Mamma Mia, Fast and Furious and Bourne. UPI owns and operates direct theatrical marketing and distribution of feature films in many locations around the globe.

This part time role requires a 9-month commitment, as this program is from March 2025 - Dec 2025

To be eligible for this internship, you MUST be studying for the duration of the internship

Job Description

Regular Weekly Duties:

Attend weekly Marketing and team WIPsPrepare purchase orders, updating PO trackers and sending invoices for paymentPrize fulfillment, sending out merchandise and prizing to winnersGeneral administration dutiesPreparing and sending film review reportsUpdating and maintaining key contact data basesAssisting in creating influencer strategy plans

Database Management:

Update the media, influencer and exhibition database to ensure contacts are most current

Events / Screenings

General administrative and event support at screenings and premiere eventsSending out screening invitations and compiling RSVP’s and door listCentral Diary booking management

QualificationsProficient in Outlook and ExcelExcellent attention to detailWell organized with great prioritization skillsAbility to take initiative and work independentlyExcellent communication and a great team playerPassionate about the film industryCurrently undertaking university study in communications or marketing based discipline
