Pump And Motor Technician

Job Description

Our client is a pump and motor manufacturer specializing in service and repair.   They are looking for a pump and motor technician to join their team.   

 

Shift: Day Shift, Monday to Friday 7:30 am to 4:00 pm Pay rate: $25 to $45/hour depending on experience Contract to Permanent: After a 3 month probationary period

 

Duties:

 

Perform pump and motor troubleshooting, repairs and installation; on site and in the shop. Assist staff as required.

Requirements:

 

Mechanically inclined. Experience with commercial pumps and electric motors. Capable of operating a wide array of hand and power tools. Familiarity with mechanical seals, bearings and packing materials. Excellent written and spoken communication is a must.   Team player.   G license in good standing

 

HVAC industry experience is an asset.
