PUMP COORDINATOR ROLE STATEMENT: The Pump Coordinator will be a member of the Maintenance Department responsible for maintaining the pump shop to ensure safe and efficient fluid end repair/replacement and readiness testing for equipment. Reporting to the Maintenance Manager and taking day-to-day direction from the Fracturing Manager and/or Coiled Tubing Department Supervisor, the Pump Coordinator will focus on providing maintenance and operational assistance including safely operating Class 1 units in the district yard, ensuring adequate materials and supplies are available, as well as adhering to all Calfrac HSE policies and procedures. SPECIFIC ACCOUNTABILITIES: Responsible for coordination of removing/installing all required fluid ends and treating iron and rebuilding components Testing units after repairs have been completed as per District requirements Operate Class 1 units related to Fracturing, Coiled Tubing, and Transport service lines Drive Class 1 vehicles within the district yard and region in a safe manner when needed Provide assistance to Parts Department along with Shipping and Receiving Assist with new hire onboarding and training initiatives including conducting shop and yard tours for OaTS Operate the forklift when required KEY ATTRIBUTES AND COMPETENCIES: Follow and enforce safe work procedures, codes, and regulations Energetic self-starter, able to work in a dynamic environment Able to handle multiple tasks by prioritizing and maintaining a high attention to detail Excellent verbal and written English communication skills Work and inspire others to work at high performance levels Able to work alone and willingness to work with others respectfully and professionally in a team environment, with reasonable instructions, training, and supervision Able to handle multiple projects and priorities with a high attention to detail Work in various physical positions including standing, kneeling, squatting, bending and reaching Able to thrive in a rapidly changing environment Basic mechanical aptitude EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE: Class 1 driver’s license and satisfactory driver’s abstract 5+ years of experience working in oilfield services and specific service line experience High School Diploma or GED Basic computer skills would be beneficial to this position (Microsoft Word and Excel Overhead crane certification is a requirement Fork Lift Certificate is a requirement
