The Pumpdown Operator assists with rig-up and rig-down of high-pressure treating iron and operates the boost pump while monitoring pressure and gauges. This role includes performing basic maintenance, inspections on equipment, and adhering to all safety and compliance standards. Skills are typically acquired through competency requirements, and a High School Diploma/GED or relevant experience is required. Candidates should have or be working towards obtaining a CDL.
Detailed Description:
Operate boost pump and monitor boost pressure and other gauges. Assist with spotting equipment and setting up the location in a safe manner. Aid in rigging-up and rigging-down high-pressure iron from equipment to the wellhead. Inspect high-pressure iron to ensure connections are secured and leak-free. Hook up suction hoses from the water source safely. Maintain high-pressure iron treating lines, including high-pressure seals, changing iron joints, and related parts. Perform all duties in compliance with Customer and Company policies, procedures, and applicable regulations. Actively participate in safety meetings to identify and address risks and hazards. Perform other duties as assigned. Utilize competency processes to enhance job performance.Job Requirements:
